Thouts on SOM accents on a Pewter T/A
I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to do some accent color on my t/a and am going back and forth between a darker charcoal and sunset orange mettalic.
I think the SOM would look good because it's also mettalic and would compliment the petwer mattalic.
Anyone have any pics of SOM on Pewter?

IMO I don't think those colors would go too well together. However I think if you put something on the car in SOM (stripe, graphic, etc) it might work pretty good if the SOM were outlined in black or something. I think both colors are too close if hue (if that makes any sense) that they'll blend too much. I don't think there's enough contrast between them.

You see alot of hhr's with the som on top and pewter base and they look sweet.
I've been thinking about som stripes on my pewter ws6 for a couple years now.Just not totally hooked on the idea of stripes on a ws6.
But those colors flow perfectly together.
You also see alot of camaro's with the orange hockey stripe.

I wouldn't do it. You would just be implementing something on to a built modded car and it would look out of place. If it was in the vain of flaminbirds where the whole orange and purple flame job dominates the theme I would like it more. The charcoal and black is the safe choice but not always the right one. Think a little bit longer of orange on pewter relative to your car and you'll make the right decision. The car has always evolved into something better after you modify it from hp evos and then to the ruffs you've been batting a good average.
