LT1 fuel pressure question
im wondering what i should set my fuel pressure at... ive got an udjustable fuel regulator and right now im set on 41psi at the rail.... should i up it or down it???
i have stock injectors, but the motor is cammed via cc306 and a bunch of other stuff... would a higher pressure help or hurt???

the only problem i see with raising it, is if raise it , you will be running richer and throwing your ve off, and vise versa if you lower it. mine from the factory is pushing 37-38 idling.you will probally make more power keeping it stock if not a little higher to make up for the add ons, if your car is n/a. run it leaner and get a little more power out of it, as long as your tune is spot on.

To verify your fuel pressure at WOT, remove the vacuum line from the FPR. This will simulate WOT, although you probably know that already.
When you raise the pressure, you change the capacity of the injectors, which will allow you to run more hp from the same injectors. See one of the injector calculators to see what that may be.
And yes, it will throw off your tables and you will have to retune. I do know of someone who was able to dyno over 400 hp on his stock injectors by raising the pressure.
FICINJECTORS, do the LS1s run a different type of injector, since they run at 58 psi?
