LM7 vs LM4/L33 engine weight ive been looking everywhere for solid numbers on engine weights. im trying to get the dry weight of the engines. LM7 = iron block 5.3 LM4/L33 = aluminum block 5.3
im planning something different in a new car we are building and would like to start with a lower displacement/cost platform than a LSx.

weight should be about 110 lbs last time i was looking at weight...look at gm performance parts book and see what the block weight is and that should be your difference
