Default Finally got the LSX running!!!!!!

That's with the help of Jim and Dan from Speed Inc. I had some wiring issues. It's all ready on the dyno for tomorrow morning. We're going to break it in and make a pull or two to make sure it's running clean through out the rpm band. I have a race Thursday so I can afford any issues. Jim already cleaned up some of the idle, it's much better.

We'll see what tomorow brings! Wish me luck!!!!!!!

What was the biggest pain? I recall you went to an external crank trigger and I read your post about the dipstick not fitting well.

Lack of instructions! Grinding, grinding and more grinding. Making brackets, changing water pumps. Thanks Mike and Neil!! Wiring nightmares. Some of all not enough time to get it done.

Not if we can do anything about it.

The turbo cars are gonna have more problems on the big end than the slow nitrous cars.

I was talkin' to Andy a lil bit today and the car is buttoned up with the help of the Speed Inc. guys. Sounds like the LSX block conversion takes a bit of work. Good luck Andy!

The race didn't go good, spun the tires.

Anyways the car is running good, the tires were rubbing bad on the chassis so we only made one run to 6500 rpm@ 13 lbs of boost before Jim saw the smoke filling the car. lol.
It made 750? I can't remember. I was just trying to see if the new external pick up was working and hoping to break it in. The car felt very strong, I'll be testing it at the track soon to find out.

Thanks to the guys at Speed for helping me get the car done to make that race, too bad I couldn't hook it up.

Quick Reply: Finally got the LSX running!!!!!!
