Default Front Sway Bar

I have a Completely stock suspension car on a 28/10.5/15 slick. Its a 6 speed car and the best 60ft to this date is a 1.6. Would it help any if i took off the front sway bar?? Will it effect the handling of the car down the track??

You can take the endlinks off and leave the sway bar on and that will give you better front end travel. Disconnecting the sway bar is going to effect you more driving around town more than at the drag strip.
