I think it would look alright.
Gloss White FRCs with black lettering and Gloss Black Intake would look better IMHO.
FRCS: Fill in the "CORVETTE". Paint them Gloss White. Paint the lines and "5.7L" black and place black "Trans Am" door plaque where the "CORVETTE" was.
I think someone on here did this and it looks awesome.

we were going to do one on a nbm ss with white 35th stripes. he has alot of white under his hood now, but i almost think the intake would be really hard to keep clean down in some of those cracks and around the injectors.

Yeah, i agree that you should add something else in there to set it off. Like, some black FRCs w/ white lettering or something like that. Then, that would look a whole lot better.
