Did you put the opti back on right?
The 93/94 are pretty easy to install with the drive in the wrong position.
With the 95+ it's a little tougher to screw up, but it happens.

What does it do when you try to crank it?

BTW 1/4 pas zero lash is probably as tight as you want to go with stud-mount rockers.
at 3/4 your valves are gonna end up stuck open at high RPM and make bad sounds.

I looked at the opti when I had it off and it looked like it could only go on 1 way. So if I did screw it up how will i know where to put it to make it right?

I was taught to leave rockers lashed out kina far, like one or more full turns.
Then try it, when it fires up it will take your 1-2 turns to make them stop chattering. then a final 1/4 turn. Dont worry at idle the rockers shouldnt jump off or anything. Little old school but I had to be told this on two motors that i did cams in. FYI little messy,
oil gets to the rockers and starts flinging, but Napa has little clips that plugs the
oiling hole in the pushrod. I dropped Napa because I really dont think vautozone and the
like would have them.

Might sound odd but when you change up the valve train, you can follow instructions and set lash as close as possible but the valve train (being new) is just a little to tight and the valves aren't seating all the way. Your compression bleeds out one valve or the other or both.

Hope this helps like I had two different motors acting like that.
