Default Getting 1.6 rr and springs need advise.

going to get some 1.6 rr, need to know what kind are the best. I have a stock cam right now in it. If i were ever going to put a cam in it i would only go to the lt4 cam. let me know what to get. Also what springs should i get with it? Thanks Calvin

dont get an lt4 cam, nothing but disappointment IMO. i mean, if you want to spend all that time and money just to run low 13's thats fine though. go with a cc503, great cam for stock bottom end. as far as springs, i ran the comp 918 beehives and never had a prob

hopefully you choose a better cam than the Lt4 hot cam...
generally i like to have more spring than my cam requires so honestly there is not a true answer to your question however if you were to call AI or Lloyd Elliot i am more than positive either will guide you to a cam/spring that will compliment your mods...

If your dead set on that cam, Comp Cams Self-Aligning Magnum 1.6RR's and Crane 10308-1 Spring Kit would work perfect.

Stock cam, I run 1.7 Scorpion's and 918 springs. I switched from 1.6 Promags to the 1.7's and picked up 10 rwhp.

Those will work for pretty much any cam.

But Scorpion Roller Rockers and Crane Springs will be your best bang for the buck.

Yes.

There aren't really any cam "packages" besides the Hot Cam, but if you're already upgrading the rockers and springs you won't need a whole package, just the cam.

Check out the Cam Sticky.
