Default Finally Nitrous!!!

So I finally decided to put it on and have a little fun...
It's a 100 wet shot from HSW. LOVE IT.. although my buddy that helped me put it in said to just go ahead and step up to the 150 that it is fine for a car with full exhaust and bolt ons...
I think I will go up to 150 once I get the car retuned and TR6 plugs.
This stuff is addicting I went thru one bottle in the same day. Only one problem, the car bounces off the limiter at around 85mph with the nitrous.
Without the nitrous it goes thru the gears just fine so I think its a tuning issue that will get fix soon....

I wouldn't spray with the stock plugs at all. Some do but it is cheap insurance for your motor staying together.

My Bad.
I should of mention that the plugs are not the stockers, they are TR55 plugs that went in not to long ago with a Walbro 255 fuel pump.

***You need TR6 plugs!***

Put those plugs in and spray it with the 150.

for the shift issue, i'm thinking with the nitrous, it goes through the rpms faster than the pcm is used to. set the shift point of your trans a couple hundred rpms lower, and it should shift right on time.

i'm sure you know not to bounce off the rev limiter on nitrous. are you spraying through shifts?

Glad we could help kick start your new found love for nitrous. Just be sure to get the colder plugs in before spraying again. Thanks!

Nitrous is VERY addicting.

I would do colder plugs as well, but do you have a window switch on the nitrous? If not, when it hits the rev limiter and the nitrous is still spraying you WILL blow the intake off of the car. I have seen that done so many times!

Thanks for the info guys.
I have a WOT switch on it. I didn't want to put a window switch on it do to my 4K stall on it. The WOT switch gets the job done for me...

what EVERYBODY is tryin to tell u is that u need a window switch so that the nitrous turns off before u hit the limiter. there are tons of guys on here that spray with a 4k stall and still use a w/s. just tryin to save u a manifold

What happens is the n20 is spraying when the car is on the limiter.... When you are on the rev limiter the car is cutting of spark randomly. This can load the cylinders up with fuel and nitrous. When it does spark again the extra nitrous and fuel can make a LOT more explosion than you want and it can blow off your intake, MAF, bellows, etc. I saw this happen, just last week in fact, on a 408 Vette.

Just trust me on this one!

Yep, last time at GLD I saw the same thing. You don't want to hit the limiter, believe me!! Is it the spark that gets cut, I thought it was the fuel?
