so there i was.......... hitting the local cruise and a 6.0 gto went flying by me while giving me a rev, so i chased after him and went up i16 and we turn around and head back down the hill to town on mnt. rushmore road, we got to about a 40 roll and both punched it, i had him by about a car and a half by the time we shut down, pobably around 100-110mph, so i meet up with this guy a few minutes later when he was sitting in a parking lot. he started saying how his GTO had "505rwhp" with his TB spacer and an automatic tranz tune, and a diablo programer. i just figured he was bsing me with the 505rwhp

That's how it seems. It's better just to find out someone's mods and have an idea of what range that would put them in instead of finding out power #s. It makes no sense to me why someone would lie if they plan on racing.. because sooner or later they will be exposed.

LOL...Sounds like a guy I met the other day. Said he ran high 11's so I said lets go run it should be good race (my car runs 12.20's) and I put about 10 cars on him...Needless to say he didn't pull back in to talk after it was over.

You should have asked for a rematch for money!! . We have a guy like that around here. He has the best of the best of everything. He talks so much **** and when you call him out he always has some excuse on why he cannot race.. The last thing he told me was he has a 82 chevy pickup with a Nascar motor in it making 750rwhp. He called me out wanting to race and told me he would put a wooden block under the gas peddle to make it a fair race!! I waited for that bastard until about 11:00pm at night and he still didn't show.
