Summitracing sells 3.5" mild steel 180 degree bends, both 18g and 16g, not cheap, but they are quite nice

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...115+4294864604

they also sell straight 3.5 in 4' sections

Thats what I am making my downpipe out of

Aluminized steel is used for exhaust, so you can use it for your downpipe (I am using it for my hotside). If you use mild steel, then you really need to get it coated. Do a search for aluminized steel and you will find comparison threads with more info.

FWIW I got all my tubing from http://store.racing-solutions.org/

I plan on coating the downpipe anyway so aluminized steel can still be coated?
