I just put some 3:73s in My 2002 Z-28, going from a 2:73 to this is a nice change. I am taking it to the World Finals in Memphis this coming weekend and hope to pick up a few .10s with the gear change.

Did you notice a big difference on the street with the change? I have 3.23 and want to go to a 3.73 but I keep hearing it is not worth the bang for the buck?

3.23 to 3.73 would be worth it. IMO.

I have seen people pick up over half a sec from 3.23's to 3.73's so 2.73s would be even better if you get traction

I went from 3.23's to 3.73's and it made a huge difference. I switched when my rear needed a rebuild. If i didn't need a rebuild i would've left it.

I am so glad I put the 3:73s in. It will smoke the street tires through 3 gears. I have the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials to put on it so it should hook just fine. I ran a 13.55 in the 1/4 with the 2:73s. Since then I have added Pace Setter LTs and Off road Y-Pipe, and of course the 3:73s so I am hoping to get close to flat 13's with this set up.
