Camaro 3.8 1998 swap to LS1 ?? Help Hello, I'm from Germany and i have a 1998 Camaro 3.8 V6 A4 convertible. Car is in superb condition. Real summer car and is very clean and low 60 tmls on it.
For the future i planned to swap my engine to a LS1 or LT1. I know most time its not worth the time and money, but here in germany only a few Ls1 convertibles are on the traders markt and the price is very high. Its much cheaper to swap the engine.
I need some infos and links. Have anybody do this before? Any instruction, pics, sides and infos?
I read that the best way is to swap a 1998 LS1 engine in it. Which parts i need it? Specielly 1998 3,8 to 1998 LS1. I have the LS1 brakes and also the limited slip exle (stock on all Euro modells), suspension is fully upgradet for a Bilstein BTS kit and WS6 swaybars
I'm happy for any infos!

hey bud i have an 01 3.8L camaro that i plan on swapping an LS1/T56 into once i graduate college, sooner or later. anyways, over the past few years ive done ALOT of research on this issue, talked to alot of people on the board, a few shops etc. I am very knowledgeable about this swap and could help you with any info that you need... just send me a PM with whatever questions you have and id be glad to help!
