It may blow..or it may hold. I broke mine on the street playing with E/T Street radials. If you have to depend on your car everyday, then dont do it, its a 99% chance of it coming apart.

with the 9in is it true that they are heavy as **** and rob power as far as dyno's go? Im not too worried about how my car does on the dyno, Im more into the track but its always someting to brag about you know.

no, its not really the weight, its more of the rotational mass of gears and what not. but I noticed no drop in MPH with the 9in. And most places will tell you with the 6spd get the 9in, the 12 bolt will develop a whine problem. When you have the funds get in touch with Bob at EPP and he will set you up with a nice rear end, or go for a fabbed rear if your concerned about weight, they are a lil more expensive but if your buying an aftermarket Torque Arm, the costs will be damn near the same since the fabbed comes with a CM Torque Arm. The sponsers should be poppin in soon

Yea, midwest chassis appears to do some bad *** work.. I'd say go 9"/custom fab for sure.. 12 bolt is just a 10 on roids... 9" is total different design and the ring gear is actually held against the pinion better..
