What's the most appropriate stage head for LS6 cam
Details: '01 WS6 T/A
I live in CA and have decided to run the LS6 cam to avoid any emissions problems. I will also include Yella Terra rockers and the LSx intake whenever that comes out. No headers. And I may add an ATI S/C later on so whatever heads I choose will maintain stock compression.
What ported heads will maximize peak hp (not too concerned about mid-range torque, I own a '91 GTA which satisfies my need for torque) with a minimum of cost. In other words, I don't want to spend more for extra flow that can't be utilized by the small cam and lack of headers combination. So is a stage 1 sufficient or will I gain 10 rwhp with a stage 2 setup?

Well I have a 2000 Z28 and just bought the LS6 Cam. I am getting Hooker headers, Flow Master exaust w/ magnaflow muffler. I wanted to know if my stock 241 Heads will be ok if I port and polish them or if I need to invest in another set of Heads.
