Default LG Motorsports dyno numbers Cam/heads and LG Pro Long Tu

461rwhp 419rwtq

This is an 01 Z06 with our LG Long Tube headers,G5X cam package with Absolute speed 2.5 heads. Through the stock mufflers, ported throttle body, black wing filter, and pulley. No tricks with full belts etc.. the car came with a vortex rammer but we used a Blackwing to dyno so we wouldn't have to suck the hot air off the radiator. The rammer is fine when the car is moving.

I will be delivering the car to the Z06 fest at Bowling Green this weekend.

Here are a couple of the graphs from the package. Notice that the HP and TQ at 5250 rpms, where the lines cross, is about 415 tq & hp. That is the bottom end that we always talk about. That means that the low end torque is up where it should be. >> "Area under the curve"<<

This was with 93 octane gas, with an agressive tune. ( I pity the guys in
Arizona with only 91 oct)
We took out 1 degree of timing and added 1% more fuel for the street, and still got 458rwhp.

** Also notice that we get roughly 340 ft pounds of torque at 3000 rpms
** Horsepower is greater than 450 from 6000 rpms to 6900 rpms
** Torque is greater than 400 rwtq from 4400 to 5800 rpms

Thanks

Thanks guys.

Spanky, if it was software, it would be a G5X-2.1 , It was one of the small changes we are making to the G5X-2 to see how they work. Cams are weird aren't they. A small change from a given spec will make things happen. Or not.

I want to thank Absolute speed for working with LGM to get heads that flow well not only at .600 lift, but also in the mid lift area also. The combination makes Torque throughout the rpm range.

Its bad enough were paying $2.31 a gallon for super... but even worse off is our super is only 91! I had to pull MAJOR timing to get my cam to run out here
