Originally, what kind of gears came with the 02 ws6 A4? 2.73s or 3.23s?

I believe 3.23s were the WS.6s stock gears, with the auto.

3.42s were standard with the 6 speed.

It also means you got the lighter (and weaker) aluminum driveshaft.
