Default Iron Block Solid rolla 408 .... trap speeds?

I talked very briefly with Jason about this, for mere information purpose of course, and am wondering if 135+ N/A traps would be possible?

a brief general synopsis:\
-408 C.I Iron Block ls1
-GTP or Equivalent Stage 4 port job Ls6 Heads
-Somewhat Big solid Roller cam
-Custom Sheetmetal Intake
-All the bolt ons.
-Dynatech 1 3/4-1 7/8 or Grot 1 7/8 LT headers
-X pipe, dumped
-3400 lb raceweight

that's a brief outline, now would it be able to hit a 135+ trap? would 150 be feasible with a TNT direct port 250-300 shot?

this is just a What if kinda post, but i'm very curious, so someone enlighten me

thanks

THAT would be a KILLER DRAG RACING engine/set up no DOUBT! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> I don't know about 135 traps but should be pretty darn close. I would say with proper hookup and suspension you would have yourself a 10 second flat BEAST or high 9s under ideal conditions matched with the right drag racing gear and drag racing converter is your an A4. I seriously considered doing this exact engine instead of my agress. hyd roller 427 MTI ironblock but b/c my beast wil see more street action than strip, i went with the killer street torque set up that the bigger cubes will get me with 4.125 crank.

I say GO FOR IT. Better yet, do a 414CID solid roller with 4.060 overbore and 4.00 crank, if your going to stay NATURALLY ASPIRATED!
