Has nothing to do with it being an iron block - you have something else going on. They may have been over-tightened when installed - that is the leading cause of messing up knock sensors...

I know I'm reviving the dead, but to add to his question....
Would changing to an Iron block require different settings for your knock settings in say HPTuners? And how would you bother going about changing it with the correct settings.

I have a similar problem...kind of.
I have EFI Connection on a boosted LT1 (LS PCM). No knock on the dyno, no problems at all. Speed Inc. tuned it (HPTuners I think).
First drive, went into only about 5 psi of boost, threw the CEL. Got these:
P0327 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input (Bank I or Single Sensor)
P0332 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)
The harness has provisions for 2 knock sensors, I'm only using one. I think they forgot to disable knock sensor 2, but this doesn't clear up the primary knock sensor. Using the proper 96-97 LT1 knock sensor.
Can the sensitivity be adjusted in the PCM with HPTuners?
Think of this as any other LS1.....
