Default Outlaw Motorsports

I purchased the following items from Outlaw Motorsports:
custom cam: $295.00
Patriot (Gold) Dual valvespring kit w/ titanium Ret.: $260.00
Rollmaster double timing chain: $115.00
Manley 4130 Chrome Moly 7.400 pushrods: $90.00
Tune and Dyno: $325.00
Shipping: $23.00
Total withdrawn from my account on 04/07/06 = $1,108.00
The transaction was placed over the phone and payment was made with my VISA card. I was told an invoice would be emailed. At this point I've never received and invoice.

As of today (05/31/06), all I've correctly received was the tune.
I was to be shipped a Rollmaster timing chain and pushrods on April 22nd. On 4/24/06 I received a stock timing chain and an LS6 oil pump (not parts I ordered).

On Monday 5/1/06 I requested a refund for the items I didn't receive. I informed Tony that I would ship back his timing chain and oil pump when my refund was issued.

I was informed by email on Saturday May 4th my refund would be issued on Monday 5/8/06, except the cam because "once a custom cam is ordered there's nothing I can do about it".

Today is Wednesday 5/31/06 and a refund hasn't been issued and there has been no update on the cam I ordered. I've had no communication With Tony since his email on May 4th.
I've sent two emails since that time requesting an update with no response.

I have a record of all the emails with Tony at Outlaw.
At this point I would just like resolution of this issue.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me.
Marc

I have also been having a hell of a time with Outlaw. My credit card was charged on 18 April (2 weeks after I placed the order) for a TA Performance rear-end cover and stud kit (the ASP pulley I also wanted was never ordered). Through out the month of April I was told the rear-end cover would ship out today. Well today never came. On 4 May I sent Tony 2 PM's (1 of which still has not been read), 3 emails, and called the shop 21 times (left 2 voicemails with my cell phone number) to request a refund. A little excessive, but I had been calling, emailing, and PMing for the previous week with no response. As of today I still have yet to hear from Tony and my card has not been refunded.

Email server messed up or not, the PM's on here still work as does the phone. Waiting a month for a refund is complete crap!

That really sucks that you are having such a problem with them. Seeing threads like this really help to narrow down the choices when there are so many shops to choose from.

Yup, Marc (hifi dream) and I stayed quiet about this long enough. We have both been trying for over a month now to get our money back and as of today neither of us have even heard 1 word from Tony.

That is a flat out lie!

My girlfriends credit card was charged on 20 April for $165. This was just verified with a call the credit card company.

lol, its not specifically for mustangs. thats just what its called. straightline has the same dyno i believe. it gives lower but more accurate numbers than a dynojet.

i had my car by tony for a clutch on my firehawk and had no problems.

I don't blame you, there is a dirty little rumor that if you put an LS1 car on a Mustang dyno, it will just disappear in a cloud of smoke. Mustangs and LS1's aren't compatible. Only go to a shop that has a Firebird dyno.

You're not smart, and if your momma told you that you were, she's a liar.
