Default winsheild wiper replacement

Don't judge me for this stupid question.

I am trying to follow instructions from "alldatadiy" to replace wiper .
I could not get the wiper arm to delay mode.

getting really frustated. it should be very simple. put wiper mode to "delay"
when wiper is in middle of winshield. turn key off.
DOES NOT WORK. do i need to pull the battery cable off during this process?

i have a 2006 gxp 52K.

I haven't replaced my windshield wipers yet, but the stock air box and I have a great relationship going..

Took me over an hour and a half to get a new air filter in there....

Ended up taking the entire assembly apart, for the future i now know that all I have to do is loosen the hose clamp on the tb and just move the whole "lid" out of the way.

But back to the window wipers, I can't believe that they wont stop when you turn the car off....that's really dumb.

Maybe try with your door open, so power options will not stay on?
