The L67( i think) had 2 HP ratings in the last few years of it being in the Grand Prix, 240HP and 280lbs of torque, then when it went to SeriesIII it bumped up to 260 HP (torque stayed the same)
The LS4 is a 303 HP motor with 323 lbs of torque if i am not mistaken, so the LS4 should be faster. I think i've read in some places that the L67 in both trims only reaches a mid 15 sec 1/4 for some reason while the LS4 runs the low 14's.

Just from personal experience. I own a 99 GTP and a 2008 GXP. My 99 ran 14.5x something stock. With the few mods I have on it, my PB is 14.002 so just short of getting into the 13's. I have never run my GXP but at a Grand Prix meet at the same track a guy ran 14.2 with his stock GXP. So really they are very close. I would say the GXP is definitly faster but close enough driver could be the difference. The l67/l32 motor does have a much larger aftermarket so you could make it into an 11 second still streetable car.
