Default Subwoofers with Bose

I have been thinking about putting a subwoofer in my car but have heard it sounds like ****/won't work with bose stereo. Anyone here done this or have any recommendations?

As I said in the other thread it sounds fine. But I'm not audiophile. I didn't have a problem with the stock Bose speakers I just wanted some extra bass.

Works fine. Just make sure you tap the Sub output of the Bose amp, if you are running a stock HU. If not, Use your preamp from your HU.

Thanks for the info! I'm assuming the stock output is visible off the amp?
