Default MSD Performance Coils

Looking to burn my tax refund on the GXP. I was looking at MSD coils. I was wondering if anyone had used these before on any LS engine? I am skeptical of the benefit given the $720 price tag. I was thinking of this or having my torque converter redone for a higher stall speed.

I am not sure if these is the exact application. I have to call them. The pricing is very close for all 3 LS engine coil kits.

MSD Ignition Coils

Appreciate your thoughts.

The factory ones are pretty good. I would say to put your money somewhere else.

The factory ones are great. they will hold up to turbo/nitrious use. Buy something else.

I wanna bore and stoke an LS4 out to a pontiac 421 or 428. That big of a motor though would make tires hide from your car. not to mention the tranny

The factory coils have proven themselves over 1000HP. I'd put the money in some bolt on parts or some JUICE

Save your money. There is not much out there for these cars.

You are better off getting a project car and going from there.
