Good question, mine does this most of the time as well and i can't find a way to diable it...whether using autostart or starting it manually the first thing i have to do when i get in is push that darn air-conditioning button and turn it off.

The only time my A/C comes on (and stays on) when I remote start is after I've turned the car off with the A/C button still engaged.

Otherwise, it will try to normalize the temp to whatever the climate control temp is set at after I turned the car off.

You live in a warmer climate and therefore the car will behave differently.

Well the past few nights it's been <40 degrees here, and my climate control is set at 60 pretty much all the time.
When I get in my car (after remote start) and turn the key, the A/C button is only engaged after I've turned the car off with it engaged. If I turn the car off with a/c off, it won't be on when I turn the key.

so...
Turn Key off with A/C off = Remote Start goes to climate control temp. Turn key to on position and A/C is off
Turn Key off with A/C on = Remote Start goes to climate control temp. Turn key to on position and A/C is on

..Not tryin to be a smart ***, just thought the paragraph I wrote was confusing.

No worries, I rarely get the AC on thing, but it happens occasionally. I don't understand the car's logic, something tells me there isn't any, but I assume it turns it on for a reason...
