Default HP tune or Vector tune?

I have a friend here in my town that can HP tune my car, but I read in HP tuner forums that its abit pain in the ***....I was looking at the Vector tune and I can just ship out my computer control.

What would be better?

Thanks

I ordered a Vector tune, but I haven't gotten it yet. I'll post my thoughts afterwards.

I opted for Vector for the 'stealth' tune. I was going to get HPTuners for how in depth it goes, but I don't want my dealer to know it's there.

I recently got the Vector tune on my Impala. I really like the tune, but really really like the trans tune. Very nice firm shifts. I live only about 30 miles from Vector so I may be biased, I was able to just go into their shop and have the tune downloaded.

I really like My dyno tune for the motor. We didnt get a chance to go to deep into the trans that day. For that reason all my Tq managment is still on just in case lol. Thats one thing i still need.

Not sure what others have dynoed before and after tunes. By My mid range increase was in the 30HP gain over stock. And my peak was 20HP over stock on second to last run then went down a couple HP but she was gettin really hot. i think it was like the 6 or 7th pull.
