Goin to the track saturday night Heading to Englishtown, NJ saturday night. Gonna make a few runs with a few different setups. 1st run im gonna run with the nitrous off and my cutout closed to get a base run. 2nd run im gonna run with nitrous off and cutout open. 3rd run is gonna be nitrous on and cutout closed. 4th run is gonna be nitrous on cutout open..***** to the wall pretty much. I'm hoping to hit mi-high 13's w.o nitrous and mid-high 12's with the nitrous. Anyone who has ran at a track b4 what psi do you have your tires set to and im also going to take out the left headlight to allow better airflow to the intake. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't been there before, but from what I've heard, isn't E-Town a bit too busy on Saturday nights for you to be able to make 4 passes?
I'm also interested in taking my car down the track one of these days.

So did you make it out. I was there when the gates opened and got 4 runs in before noon. Got really busy later though. The only ls4 car I remember seeing was a burgandy Impala SS. Got a new pb Sat. and am very happy with it.

was not able to make it there got stuck closing at work, i actually just got home from there now..wont be at least a week b4 i decide to go again..leaving for cancun 2m night

Track Night Well I went to the track tonight once again 1/8 mile and not to good of a night! My 60ft times were terrible with my best of the night being 2.21, last week I cut a 2.10 60ft. Well on the up side I beat a 5.7 CTS-V, a 2002 GTP with nitrous, a 2002ish Corvette (he accused me of spraying him), and a fox body with slicks and unknown mods, 3 trucks that should've never been on the track!
On the down side I got beat by a G8 GT that was tuned, I slept bad at the light and he end up beating me by almost two cars, he would've beat regardless though maybe not as bad! I got beat by 2 camaros(heavily modded that they should've never put me beside, both trailer cars. I lost $200 in a race against a Fox Body Stang with street slicks and found out he had nitrous in the end. The only reason I raced him was because he raced the same GTP with spray that I did. I beat the GTP by a car and half or more twice and I let off before the finish line. The mustang was barely beat him 3 out of 4 times they race and the GTP won once. I had been told the stang had nitrous but his line was mess up and he couldn't spray it. I got suckered up , I ran him for $200 and he beat me by the front fender 8.90et to a 9.12et! His previous runs he had been running 9.60s to 10.20's. He say he didn't spray because of his line being mess up but when he let me look in his trunk the bottle was hooked up, warm, and when he took the line loose it had pressure on it! He sprayed!

I went last night and ran on a 1/4mile track. My best time was 14.7@93, my car ran like such a fat pig last night. I couldn't get my tires to hook for $hit! I think i'm gonna have to break down and get some dr's now. I was thinking I could get it down to a 14.1ish since the last time I went I was doing 14.3s all night. Oh well there's always next week!!

If I could've got my car to hook a lil better I would've beat him. I lost $200 but I didn't feel bad after I found out he had to spray nos to beat my 4 door family car. I beat a vette and a cts-v though and that felt really good and I don' even have a tune yet. I'm looking into getting some dr's too but I'm kinda scared whether the trans will hold up.
