where on the car where it says its got a ls4 engine in it. My buddy doesnt believe its part of the engine class. He thinks its part of the model number.

Um Owners Manuel, Get a VIS from you dealer that shows all the RPO codes including LS4-5.3L V8. See if you local dealership has a 2008 Pontiac model book.

Doesn't the RPO sticker have LS4 on it? I haven't checked mines but I know my 07 Silverado had the engine code on it as well as my mom's L32 Impala.

Tell him to look under the hood. If there is a V-8 there is only 1 V-8 that is/was available and that is the LS4 5.3 325cid V-8
