Default 3 questions from a newbie

Just purchased 2006 GXP
1. transmission temperture is running about 223...is this OK
2. when starting off from a stop, even at a slow speed the rear end seems to drop into a small hole...?
3. light and sometimes loud grinding noise when backing up and turning the wheels...?

1. i called the dealer about tranny temp they said dont worry untill it hits like 260 the only time i have seen it around 230 is hen i was autocossing though on hot days thats probably pretty normal mine usually stays between 170 and 200 it will go up rapidly if you send a lot of time in one place
2. accel will make the rear end squat just how things work
3. the "grinding" that you are talking about i think is actually the abs system testing itself i believe. im not sure what you are reffering to when you say light as in lights or light noise though

Maybe your Steering pump is making noises. But the pump normally squeals.
What surface is this happening on maybe like gravel making noise under the tires?

Intermediate Steering Shaft, Broken Steering Rack, and the inner front fender well linings can cause this sound as well.

Have Dealership check all three.

it is also the classic sound of a worn CV joint, sometimes described as more of a clicking than a grinding. I would check that as well.
