Widest Tires on Stock rims?

What's the widest tires you can fit on a lowered Impala SS with stock rims? Any body tried aftermarket sizes yet?

I would think that 235/50/18's would be the widest you could go on a stock 7in wheel

U could probally go 245-45-18

I wouldn't do more than 245/45/18's while being lowered.

I have ran as wide as 255/45/18s but not lowered.

thin rims, I would not go larger than a 235 sectional tire, especially lowered.
