Going Catless, tune Question
I know that it's necessary to tune out the rear O2 sensor. My question is how long can you safely run without it? Would it be ok to drive the car 100 miles to the dyno? I'm assuming this is just an O2 check sensor and not one that regulates A/F since it can be tuned out. Thoughts?

I've been catless for a few months now, the light gets a little annoying, but everything else is fine.
EDIT: Remote Start stops working though... It'll come back if you get the code tuned out.

yeah, besides the rear O2 codes, you also have to disable the CAT codes... P0420 and P0430... and also turn off the COT protection in the tune as well, since you don't have the cats anyway...

if you are going to go without a cat-con, for off road use only, of course, you can tune out the cat-con over-temp protection. It essentially richens the mixture over a certain engine speed/load to keep the temps down in the cat-con. Lowers mileage and completely unnecessary if there is no cc.
