Great experience with Watter Wetter, undecided on Superchips programmer
So, Tim at Redline Oils recommended that I try something. Yesterday, I went and had it done. Temp was in the high 80s and my car was dipping just above the middle line somewhere between 215-225. I had had my Dexcool removed from the radiator, and added 13 quarts of Distilled Water with a bottle of Water Wetter (this will be replaced come cooler weather). Average temp was now as low as 190 while driving and 197-203 while sitting. After runs at the track, temp went no higher than 213 after shutdown. I figure temps have gone done 10-20 degrees. On cool days with Dexcool, average was 199.
I'm on the side about my programmer. Shifts are much firmer, but it doesn't seem like it gained me anything at the track even with the revised shift points. But, that seat of the pants feel that they claim 1st to 2nd is def. there. it's 2nd to 3rd. I'm having trouble with (getting down the track). I had spoken with them about the fact that it seems my car is running too rich (they explained how fuel is added to add power). I asked them if they could revise my tune to match where I drag (a little over 1000ft at the track and 1350 I believe in Pittsburgh). They cannon find an 05 GXP near Orlando to help me. So, maybe I will take the drive there and let them have my car. Canned tune, no doubt, and that tune is made in Florida. I'm waiting for a call from their tech department. Redline Oil and Trans fluid is next.

You probably got more benefit from the distilled water than the Water Wetter. Pure water is much better conductor of heat than any coolant, Dexcool or otherwise. The only reason water alone isn't used is because of corrosion and it's nasty tendency to freeze at temps below 32.

Check this one out

This part is what mattered to me;
And the good thing about Red Line's Watter Wetter is that it passed the ASTM D2570 Simulation Service Corrosion testing. What the hell does that mean? It means this product passed the same tests the big coolant companies passed and it won't corrode your engine when mixed with water alone.

Do a few runs with a stock tune, then the superchips tune on the same day if you doubt it. I ran slower after my Superchips tune, but trapped the same MPH in 50 degree warmer temps and higher humidity.
*edit* If you want a custom tune, why not save the 20 something hour drive and just get HPtuners?
