Default Upgrading Spark Plug Wires

I am going to be upgrading my plugs and was just wondering if any of you had upgraded your spark plug wires and if so what brand did you get and where from? thanks.

I have taylor ones for my car and truck. Thundervolt 50s (part 98005) and Pro 409s (part 79205 for red and 79605 for blue). They ran like 70-80 a set from an online vender.

MSD pn# 32819 they are for a LS1. The length was right, but the #8 boot is hitting something back there. Next time I'm out side I'll check to see if it is wearing into it.

Seems to fit. I have the red 409 10.4mm ones in the car. I haven't really checked if it's worn or hitting anything.

All of the pre made LS coil based ignition wire sets should work. There shouldn't be too much of a loss if you go with a 8mm since they are so short. Stock ones are capable too.

neilownz: you will have to let me know if you find any wear or if its hitting anything.

I didnt, but it is pretty hot under there after its been running for awhile. The oil cap gets warm now. Found that out changing the oil the other day.

Any updates as to the 10.4mm wires having any signs of wear or hitting anything? I'm thinking of buying them.

Aftermarket wires won't give you any more power so you're better off using the stock wires. Same goes for plugs, unless you are putting out a lot of horsepower.
