Default Another tranny thread, problems at 37,200.

So my tranny was acting weird, starting in the wrong gear and shifting funny, so I checked the fluid and it was filthy. Went to a buddy's shop, flushed it out, the old fluid looked black... Got some new fluid in it and as far as I can tell, it's better. Shifting from Park-Reverse-Drive is smoother and going through gears is smoother. Just letting y'all know.

How many quarts did it take? What gasket and filter kit did you use? I was thinking about changing mine soon too. Thanks

It was 14 I believe, didn't change the the filter or gasket...

It was shifting hard from Park into the others, with the Parking brake on. Without it, it was horrendous sounding... Didn't really take any longer, just sounded very rough.
