Default trans for LS4 fwd. 0km

I have a 4T65E for sale. it has 0km on it, comes complete with torque converter. $850 plus deleivery charges. Located in Ontario Canada. You can e-mail me at jayfred1900@hotmail.com

If you want more info just ask. It is brand new never been attached to a car. it was a sponsorship for our race cars. We no longer race the fwd cars and this is a spare left over from the end of the season.

u said u have a 4T65HD transmission? the one for ls4 is a 4T65E-HD the one u have is the standard on the v6 impalas and what not... please double check your information and post on the appropriate forum.

Might want to read up on your transmissions... Not just the OP either...

"The "-E" transmission is electronically controlled and features an automatic overdrive transaxle with an electronically controlled torque converter clutch."

The base transmission for standard V6 W-Bodies was the 4T65-E,

and the upgraded transmission for LS4 and L67 cars was the 4T65E-HD.

Wow, didn't realize that when I said I had a trans for a v-8 grand prix that it would cause some people to question the exact wording of the specified trans. Thanks for clearing it up for me. oh by the way the trans is sold and the guy that bought it didn't have any problem with what I advertised.
