Default GXP exhaust measurements

Looking to get summit Racing Mufflers, need to get the inlet/outlet diameter on stock exhaust. I believe it is 2.25 and center/offset??

The way the stock piping it set up is gay. It goes from 2 1/2 befor the y, and drops to @ 1/4 after the y. Then down to 2 back to 2 1/4 at the muffler. I just put Magnaflows on my Gxp and they sound great and there 2 1/2. I used offset/ center and should have used offset/offset, but either way will work. Hope this helps!

here are some pics of my exhaust and new tips 2.5 in and out offset/center. The factory mufflers are offset/offset by the way.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you plan on continuing to mod the car, save up and get a full exhaust built instead of spending money on the mufflers just to have to replace them later. I made this mistake, put several hundereds of dollars into my old exhaust just to tear it all out and replace it later.

Yeah thanks for the info. I know I had to replace them because the stock ones where rusting out. I can still use these when I get the rest done from the cat back. Which I do plane to do in time.

I'm getting my cutout put on March 9th, so when I get that done I might have him do a custom exhaust for me. But I still have no idea which mufflers to put on. I was thinking Summit, Borla, or Magnaflow.
