Death by a........
2010 Mazada3 speed
Getting on the highway the other night I noticed a car behind me and decided to punch it on the on ramp. I usually pull really hard and pull away from them but he stayed about 20 yards behind me and stayed there until we hit about 110mph....and then he just flew past me like i was standing still. So I let off and let him go because there was no way that i was going to catch him.Its my first death and im so mad. Just wanted to let u guys know that there fast little cars.

It happens to all of us over 100 mph... Good run though, they trap around 100. We need to do something about 3rd gear, these cars become useless after 100...
LS460, they're decently fast, mid-14s also trapping around 100. The IS-Fs are the one to look out for, they run high 12s, low 13s and trap around 110.

Now let me race that ***!
Did you shift manually out of second or did you let your trans short shift it's self? The stock 2nd-3rd shift; shifts way to early and that would cause a definite loss. Don't feel too bad though cause your all stock from what I can tell. Just get a tune from Triffecta and you'll be set. If you really wanna make some big gains then install some LS6 yellow springs (We have the first design LS6 blues) and some Crane cams gold race 1.8:1 roller rockers. These rockers added a lot more power and were very easy to install. Just make sure you up your shift points to 6200RPM. I have a cold air intake and custom exhaust and I can tell you that I never really noticed much of a gain and that's probably from our chocked up intake manifold and exhaust manifolds. The Crane rockers make stock cams open and close a lot more aggressively they speed up the ramps. So they do more then just increase the lift of the valves. They make a new cam. Most people are afraid to adjust there own valves but it's a breeze I bought my crane kit for 400 barely used on E bay.

First things first though, headers and an intake manifold. We have an awsome engine that performs very well considering it's external limitations. Sooner or later we will all be pushing 300 FWHP before goining into the engine. I belive whe have more then enough cam since our engines wanna pull past 6K with the restrictons.

I'd love the headers, but I do plan on turbo and they're not compatible, or has the design changed since?
Intake is my next big mod, along with a TB spacer and porting.
