Default Anyone know how to get the black dashcap off a 2006 Impala?

I want to remount my Nav antenna on the underside of it, but I don't know how to get the dashcap off without breaking it.

Has anyone done this?

When I installed my gauge overlay, that part popped up after taking the end caps off and the a/c bezel. I didn't take it completely off though.

End caps? You mean the side-dash pieces that butt up against the door panels on each side?

Also, didn't know the AC bezel came off...I thought it was glued! How do you remove that?

No pics, but a video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6qmbOki_yA

I found the regency overlay on ebay for $40. When I bought it, there was only one more known existing new overlay It was muc h better than the $200 that the company sells for 'em now.

As for the dash cap, I was talking about the side dash pieces. Take those off, and then take off the cluster bezel with the two scres holding it on, you can then access all the screws that hold the a/c bezel on. It's all one piece from the passenger side to the driver side, so be careful.

Then you should be able to see how the dash cap comes off.

As stated, I popped it up on the front, and I didn't see how the rest c ame off, but it might give you enough room to work with.
