Talking F.a.s.t. Intake

Ok so I called F.A.S.T. a few min. ago and left a message for Brian. I'm waiting on him to call me back In the mean time I want to get a list going on who would want in on this. I don't know for sure that anything will come of it yet but want to try and give a rough count on how wants to do it.

I'd be interested depending on what type of deal could be worked out.

I would be insterested also. That intake would go along with the headers nicely.

There are also a few people interested in this on the DT Header thread.

You must have. We are tryin to get F.A.S.T. to make us an intake manifold and do a group buy. Just like William and Buick did with doug thorley.

I wonder if they could put the tb opening further away from the opsu. Anyways I doubt this would happen since they could only sell ~100 units max. Have to rig up one yourself like the LS2 intake thread. LS2 intake would flow enough for the 5.3.

About 1K....

I am sorry OP but F.A.S.T is a much bigger company....this will be an even bigger uphill battle than the headers.

Plus you have to switch TB's...

I agree it's a little different than bending and welding steel. Sure doesn' hurt to ask. Wonder how they go about designing these things; plus the mould they have to build and those things aren't cheap.
If they needed 30 for headers they'll need alot more for this project.

It doesn't hurt to try. We'd never have headers if someone didn't contact DT. If that fails I am sure there is another company that can help us or at the very least mass produce a modded LS2 or LS6 intake. I'd buy either.

I'm glad someone is on my side. You wouldn't have to get a new throttle body it would bolt right to the manifold. Really the only mold that SHOULD have to be made to do it would be the upper shell. The runners and lower shell from an ls6/1 should be able to be used.
