I'm installing my vacuum/boost gauge in my Impala SS. I've got all of the wire run, but I'm looking for the best place to splice the T connector into the vacuum line. I only see the hose on top of the intake manifold and it's much larger than the provided T fitting. Don't they have some other hoses that would work better?

If anyone could post a pic or detailed spot, I'd appreciate it.

I spliced mine into the brake booster line. I got a t-adapter from NAPA and used the rubber adapter included with the gauge. I put a little silicone onto the adapter before sliding the hose on. I hooked the hot wire for the gauge light into the gray wire going into the headlight control for the dimmer.
