Did whoever installed it put a lot of strain on it trying to shove it up into place?

Is it the flex section or the weld. There's at least 6 here that have the same problem, sounds like a production issue. My car sounds like ****.

Mine makes some weird noises too, especially when warming up. It also sounds like hell when going back into 8cyl. mode. Makes a rattle noise from under the car, kind of sounds like a rod rattling.

Same here. Had my E cutout welded up at a performance shop and he had a quick look at it with a few of the mechanics and said he thought it was an air intake issue where the engine is wanting more air. I've got a k/n (fwi) and stage 2 intake mani and only get the noise at wot or throttle bursts. He suggested taking the k/n off and do a quick run up the road.

Is it part of that pipe I sent you? If so, the warranty has expired! Sorry!

Guys Honestly, I have no clue why they put a flex pipe between the heads over the trans. There's no flex in that area it doesn't make any sense at all. The only place it should've been was at the end of the down pipe. Cause thats where the flex is. I haven't installed my headers yet but after reading about this noise I'm thinking of removing that flex pipe and welding it solid and adding a flex down below. Unless DT offers a cross over to fix the breaking and the whislte issue.
