How about taking a Monte Carlo SS front bumper ('06) and using the side skirts + rear bumper from the Razzi kit? I know that you can purchase that stuff serparately...what do you all feel about that?

BTW, that Regency kit looks awesome...very smooth visual and gives the Imp a waaay better look. Now that's how the SS should have came from the factory

Yeah, I've only seen one Regency in person, and it wasn't up close, but I love the kit. There's one guy at NAIOA with it, but he doesn't post much, if at all, anymore.

Does anyone think that this setup would work?

Default Monte carlo bumper swap with impala ltz

Thanks for the input on the bumper exchange. I'm happy with the look, but I'm 63 years old and definetly old school. You younger guys got great ideas on making these newer model cars look much better than the stock design. I'm outtta here.

Default Monte carlo impala ltz bumper swap

The word "gawdy" just helped me make the decision to take off my molded mud guards. They are definetly in the gawdy catagory. Do they make bug deflectors for Impala's?

Thumbs down Newbie!

Saw this thread, and have to share... Just contacted Regency and have received replies about RSS impala body kit. They told me the were still available at $495 each for the front and back bumper covers... YEA! Then they sent a pic of the front cover and it was the RazzI glue on cover.... They said the Regency front covers are no longer available. They said they had the rear covers, but I figured it is a Razzi also. 2 weeks and 13 e-mails later... ( 3 e-mails said that the covers looked EXACTLY like the pics I sent... Thanks for brains!) I've decided to give up and try for a different look... now what to do???

I've been tryin to figure out a way to get my Impy to stand out from the rest of the most popular ls4's in the most popular color. Can someone with a monte measure the length of the side skirt? Get me an SS VIN? And Tell me how the skirts on the side are mounted? I'd like to get my Impala painted 2 tone Silver and Black but if I could get the "Body Kit" thats on the monte I would just paint the skirts like the Monte's have.

If only I could afford the insurance on a Monte I would have bought one but being 21 and single in Philadelphia with a 5.3 liter and 4 doors already costs $190 a month. A Monte would have been 350+

man i guess insurance must really blow for cities or young dudes ... but seeing as i got the monte once i turned 25 and never had a moving violation or accident, my insurance from a crown vic only went up like 10 percent ...

if you need a vin to look up information just go on cars.com and search for 06-07 monte carlo ss and copy one of those ...

p.s ... copying the montes two tone silver ground effect on a black car to the impala would look killer ...

heres my all black next to a two tone 2007 ...

I personally have no ordered from them, but I've heard from people who have and had no problems.
