getting the gxp dynotuned!
well for gxp rachies birthday, i decided to go ahead and pay to get her car dynotuned at a friends local shop. he will be tuning the car with hp tuner software, one of my main questions is, upon increasing the line pressure of the transmission will a shift kit still be neccessary.? also we will be doing a electric cutout on the car a month or so afterwards and am also curious if we will have to re dyno tune?....also what numbers can be expected, car currently has a custom pvc 3inch fwi intake with a monster cone filter on it and a 3inch downpipe back to the stock y and stock mufflers.

See how you like the feel of the increased line pressure and go from there. If it feels good to you, you don't need a shift kit. If you want more "chirp", then a shift-kit is less than $50 to buy, maybe x2 to get it installed.
For the cutout, yes, you'd need a retune to maximize performance, as you would with any mod that increases what's going in or out of an engine.
Whether or not you'd feel a difference between tuned w/o cutout versus tuned with cutout is another story, however.
