Default May 2010 Transmission Problem Thread

I know this has been done before, but it would be interesting to get some updated numbers.

Please post the following information:

Year
Model
Did the transmission fail or is it displaying any abnormal behavior?
What failed in the transmission?
How was it fixed (rebuilt or replaced?)
How many miles on car at failure, or if it has not failed, when you first noticed something wasn't right?

EVERYTHING in the trans
dealership rebuilt, still didn't work, ordered factory rebuilt, awaiting arrival
40,500

EDIT: shift points raised to 6K, but I drive in Tap 99% of the time. Aggressive driving, I got a V8 for a reason.

2006 Monte SS
Converter gernaded
It was somewhere between 12-15000 mi. I had the car since new.
Tranny was still working/shifting when I pulled it into the dealer but the converter sounded like it had a bunch of gravel in it.
New converter and rebult tranny by dealer
Haven't had a bit of trouble since

Now I will have to say, this happened not too long after I had gotten my Diablo Predator and was doing alot of tuning in my car. I would go out, do a log, change some parameters, and try again. And if I didn't quite like what I got, I would change it again. So I'm sure the constant changing didn't help things any. Sure, we don't have tranny tuning with the Predator, but the tech at the dealership said even changing just the ECM would make the tranny act different and the constant changing so close together may have led to the converter letting go.
