2010 6.0L RWD Caprice - Police Only I was reading through a car magazine at the doctor's office today and came across a small article and picture of a 2010 RWD Chevy Caprice strictly for Police use only. They said it has RWD and a 6.0L 355hp/384tq V8...Is this only new news to me? I didn't even know Chevy was making the Caprice again - sort of looked like a long Impala to me. 
I also found an ARAB video on YouTube with some crazy drifting in RWD Chevy of some sort - I see a bowtie on the steering wheel:

The Zeta platform is the G8, the Commodore, the Lumina, and whatever they call the Vauxhall version.
The new Caprice is based off the Statesman which is a little longer wheelbase.

yea this is super old news guys!! they even have them in previous years also...by that i mean after 96...america just didnt get them SUCKS!!

Yes, Chevrotlet will be getting a replacement for the old and bland Impala. It will most likely be the LWB Police Caprice vehicle minus the V8. It'll also probably get new sheet metal akin* to the Camaro.
*No, it will not look like the Camaro. It will just get its own design and not resemble the other Global Rear Wheel Drive vehicles.

thats def. not a photoshop trust me look around on the net im sure you see its on a holden platform...looks similar to a g8 gxp...theres even vids of it.btw if you think that this is the first year since 96..its been a carprice made ever since then. just not for us i think the one in the pics is a 2008-09 tho
