Default Porting LS1 Manifold, worth it?

I'm thinking that my next mod is going to be an ls1 intake manifold swap.

I'm wondering if it'd be beneficial to port the manifold, or just leave it as is?

Would we see greater results, worth the money on our application?

Thanks

It'd be interesting, but at the same time I don't see much on it to be ported. I think the LS2 has a lot more extra material than the ls1.

The Ls6 intake is not all that its cracked up to be guys. Just do a flipping search. The Ls6 does have more Plenum volume. So will the ls1 after adding a Tb adapter. 300-500 for a used to new Ls6 intake vs. 35-75 for a used ls1 intake. Ls6 vs Ls1 would Probly be about 5Hp (crank) stronger at peak Hp. I've read enough dyno charts and other related article to prove this. A Ls6 intake just seems more suiting cause we have Ls6 heads. Also.. the ls1 intake on our motor, with the dod tray, will not require the dod plug to have to be modified. Just reposistion the opsu tower
