pro would be that your speedometer would be accurate as you already have 3.29 as the final drive ratio. If you mean changing the chain/sprocket reduction from the effective 2.93 ratio to get to a true 3.29 final drive, then I would suggest no. Your turbo will severely traction-limit you with the stock set-up, much worse if you shorten up the gearing. Also, the turbo will like the extra load the engine sees with the stock gearing and spool faster. Only reason to swap in my opinion is if you are looking to change the powerband for a specific application, like trying to cross the traps @ a higher RPM in third to increase your average power to the ground during a run.
