I have no idea how they are in winter (Texas), but people seem satisfied buying them. The sidewalls are soft, I know from mounting and dismounting them. I can't imagine anything being worse than the OE Goodyears! Unless you're in a GXP that had Potenzas stock - which have a sidewall hard as steel! But absolutely suck in weather under 45 degrees lol.

I put these on my wife's 2004 gtp comp g. They have around 35,000 miles and have been a good tire. They were great in the snow the first year, but she started complaining that they were getting bad last winter. I tried it in the snow last year and thought they were still better than the crappy goodyear rsa's on my monte. The hankooks still have a decent amount of tread on them by the way.

I don't have a ls4 car or anything, but i had some hankook ventus hrII's on my old car, a 02 Infiniti I35(fwd car). Definitely good for the first 6 months of having them, then tire wear started to become an issue. Mediocre compared to the bridgestone re960's that were on it before imo perfect alignment and never spun tires or abused the car ever really. Kinda dissapointing for how expensive they were at the tire shop. Could be just me though...
