1st drag pass in the Buick
One run only.
I work at Englishtown Raceway Park as a track official and it always seems that it's all work and no play. I asked my friend in the staging lanes if he could squeeze me in for a Time Only pass when things got light.
The car was cold from sitting all day and the temp was a cool 58 degrees.
I turned off the traction control and brake-boosted to about 2k. The light came down and I walked it out about 40' and mashed it.
R/T... 0.245
60' ... 2.328
330... 6.141
1/8... 9.320
MPH...77.44
1000...12.041
1/4...14.355
MPH...97.36
I'm pretty happy with that considering the car is stone stock with the exception of the resonator delete. The car weighs 3940# with me in it.
I'm quite certain with a little more launch practice I could get another 10th or so from her.

Heck yeah, that mph is good for a 14.0-14.1 if you can get that 60' down. Get a few more passes in and you'll figure out your cars sweet spot. These FWD's are hard as hell to get out of the hole, I think it's partially luck, lol. Thanks for sharing!

Good run man. I used to stall mine up to around 2400 I believe when I was mostly stock. Then I would just slowly roll it to the floor. I was cutting 2.0 short times that way. Every car is different, though. Gotta find that rhythm.

2.0's in ANY stock-tire fwd car is respectable, IMHO.
