I believe these are tuned lean from the factory for emissions and fuel economy reasons (ratings and for competitive data). A dyno tune remedied my problems. I do not know what size injectors our cars have but for anyone near stock a simple tune is more than sufficient.

y'all are panicking over nothing really...
they're not THAT lean... and are actually RICH at WOT...
WOT/PE fueling comes into play after 87% throttle (stock), at which point, you're over 5000 rpm... and again at which point, the fueling is actually RICH, not lean....
stock tune - anything less than 87% throttle and 5000 rpm, the ecm considers you to be at "part-throttle" and fuel trims are still in affect, and adjust the fueling...
if you are MORE than 87% throttle and OVER 5000 rpm, you're in WOT/PE mode, and the fueling is richened up, so you are not lean....
all of this of course, is fixed and adjusted appropriately with a custom tune, to change the ranges, throttle %, fueling, etc etc...
in all the tunes I've done for these cars, the only point at which I've seen most have some KR, is about 4200-4800 rpm... but not from being lean, the timing is a little high... I reduce the timing in that area by a couple degrees, and all is well...
